Canvas Parent (Grades)
Stay connected to your student's learning through a Canvas Parent Observer Account. Observer accounts allow parents and guardians to view course content, assignments, due dates, announcements, and grades, helping you stay informed and support your student's success throughout the school year.
As students move into secondary grades, expectations shift from teacher-managed progress monitoring to student-initiated accountability. Having access to real-time grades allows students to track missing assignments, understand feedback, and take action before small issues become larger problems. It also supports organization skills, time management, and self-advocacy—skills that are essential for success in high school, college, and future careers.
For families, grade access provides a consistent communication tool so parents and guardians can support students at home without waiting for report cards or conferences. This helps create a shared partnership between school and home around student progress.

Infinite Campus Parent Portal is the School District of Spencer's secure online platform that helps families stay connected to their child's education. Through the Parent Portal, parents and guardians can view grades, attendance, schedules, assignments, report cards, fees, and important school information, ensuring they have timely access to their student's academic progress and school updates.
